IN MEMORY OF JACK FREUND

Jack passed away in mid-March 2026 from pancreatic cancer. Jack was a legend, known to hundreds of coin-op collectors everywhere. He started collecting in the very early days of our hobby. He focused mostly on turn of the century vending machines and trade stimulators. If you attended any of the Chicago shows, you probably knew Jack and his late wife Ginny. They were very special people.

We all bought machines from Jack and depended upon his superlative wealth of knowledge. We all learned something from Jack. He welcomed our inquiries at the shows and over the phone. His honesty and sincerity were second to none.

Jack was inducted into the COCA HALL OF FAME IN 2017.  He was an active member of COCA, and he attended most of our conventions with Ginny. He was also a guest speaker in Chicago and had written many articles for COCA Times Magazine.
