Morphy Coin-Op, Advertising Auction: May 11, 2021
A huge 5 DAY AUCTION will be held at Morphy’s gallery, 2000 N. Reading Rd., Denver, PA 17517, on May 11 - 15, 2021 • 9:00 AM EDT . Current plans are to have live bidding in the gallery along with all remote forms of bidding, including absentee, by phone, and live via the Internet through Morphy Live.
COIN-OP AND ADVERTISING WILL BE SOLD ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, MAY 14 & 15
This auction will include the late COCA member DuWayne Bakke collection. DuWayne was well known throughout the hobby for his extensive and diverse collection of all types of coin-ops and antique advertising.
The Bakke collection includes machines from many genres including gambling, vending, arcade and music. Also, DuWaynes fine collection of many exquisite cigar cutters and lighters and vendors will be sold at this auction.
The Bakke collection includes numerous examples of antique advertising. There will be several one-of-a-kind pieces of both coin-ops and advertising to be sold at Morphy’s.
Other items to be sold at the auction include railroad memorabilia along with gas, oil and other petrolinia-automotive related items.
